Our story

Our Story

EPC Solar was established in 2014 by Daryn Stocks, building on his electrical trade background and extensive experience delivering solar installations across Australia. From its beginnings as a specialist solar contractor, the business developed a strong delivery record across residential, commercial, industrial, remote, and increasingly larger scale renewable energy projects. Its growth was supported by the capability of its engineers, electricians, project teams, suppliers and industry partners.

The transition from EPC Solar to EPC Renewables reflects the company's evolution into a broader renewable energy infrastructure business. Shareholders and senior leaders have worked together to define a new strategy, strengthen governance, and expand the company's engineering, commercial and delivery capability. This collective direction extends beyond solar PV to include BESS, microgrids, hybrid energy systems, embedded networks, energy optimisation, monitoring, asset development, construction, and ongoing operations.

Today, EPC Renewables is focused on commercial and industrial facilities, infrastructure, mining, agriculture and aquaculture, education, remote communities and utility scale energy projects across Australia and the Pacific. Our value extends from early studies and financial modelling through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, monitoring and asset support. As an Indigenous led, Australian owned business, we combine local accountability with specialist technology, funding and international delivery relationships to reduce energy costs, improve resilience, manage peak demand and support long term emissions reduction.
