Insight brings generation, storage, consumption and grid activity into one simple operational view.
Customers can see current solar production, energy generated, site consumption, grid imports and exports, and battery charging or discharging where available. Performance can be reviewed by day, week, month, year or across the installation’s lifetime.
Local weather, communications status and connected equipment information provide additional context without overwhelming the user.
UNDERSTAND SOLAR AND BATTERY PERFORMANCE
Insight makes complex energy performance easier to understand.
Solar generation can be viewed against expected performance, helping identify when an asset may require review. Battery information can include state of charge, available energy, installed capacity, charge and discharge rates, efficiency, operating periods and cycle information.
Where site demand is monitored, Insight can also display self-consumption, energy self-sufficiency, peak demand and estimated financial benefits.
ONE SITE OR AN ENTIRE PORTFOLIO
Owners can monitor an individual site or approved portfolio from their preferred device. Asset managers receive a wider operational view across every location under their responsibility.
Portfolio dashboards bring together installed capacity, current power, energy production, communications status and active alarms. Sites requiring attention are prioritised, while maps and search tools make it easy to move from a fleet overview to an individual asset.
Precinct, apartment and community installations can also view performance by individual building, tenancy or dwelling where suitable monitoring is installed.
ALARMS THAT LEAD TO ACTION
Insight presents alarms in clear language and identifies the affected site, equipment, priority and duration.
Authorised operational teams can manage incidents, service tickets, assigned responsibility and service response status from the same platform. Customers retain visibility of issues affecting their assets, while technical resolution and operational controls remain with approved EPC Renewables personnel.
Production equipment remains protected from general remote control. Any operational change continues to require appropriate authority and established engineering procedures.
REPORTING FOR EVERY STAKEHOLDER
Insight provides executive, operations, engineering, ESG and financial reporting options.
Reports can be viewed online or downloaded in PDF, CSV and Excel formats. Approved users can review periods from today through to three years, compare multiple sites and schedule regular report delivery.
Environmental reporting can include clean energy generation, estimated emissions avoided and potential certificate value where applicable. Financial information, including energy and bill saving estimates, is clearly identified as indicative.
SECURE ACCESS FOR OWNERS AND OPERATORS
Each organisation receives a secure view of its own users, sites and information.
Role based access supports owners, guests, installers, asset managers, operations teams and administrators. Each user sees only the sites and functions relevant to their responsibilities.
Insight can also support approved organisation branding, scheduled notifications, kiosk displays and convenient Home Screen access.
